We are located less than 10 miles off I-65 in our spectacular "one-of-a-kind" facility.  Everything is under one heated roof from the 15 oversized solid metal stalls to the 60 x 100 oval arena with overhead sprinkler system, the breeding room and lab, and the 20 x 80 office/lounge!  Stepping out back of the show barn, but staying under the roof line is our 48 stall mare motel.  The entire 24 acres is fenced in four-rail pipe with more than a dozen cross-fenced pastures.  The tall pines, stocked pond, 3 homes, plus the PRCA approved lighted outdoor arena (for Nick!), including bleachers, bathrooms and concession stand, makes our new home completely perfect.  We invite everyone to stop by for a visit.  We will be proud to show you why we say....
SWEET HOME ALABAMA!!

Terry Sartain has been shaping and showing World Champion Halter horses since 1971.  He has shown in excess of over 200 World Champions in four different breeds. Terry has been a carded judge for over 25 years and has judged the Appaloosa World Show 3 times.  In the past ten years alone, Terry has shown over 60 World and Reserve World Champions at the APHA, ApHC, IBHA, and PHBA World Shows.  In 2004, Terry showed the AQHA European Grand champion Stallion and the Appaloosa European Grand Champion Stallion.

Shaping, selecting and searching for that "perfect" halter horse is Terry's forte.  Many in the industry will say that he is "one of the best" at picking out a great horse "in the rough"!  In 2001, Terry shaped and led futurity horses earning over $50,000.00.  Terry and Karen took 9 horses to the 2002 APHA World and left with 7 World titles for the owners.  Terry was the High Point Halter trainer for the show, leading more World Champions and Reserve World Champions than any other exhibitor.

The Farm manager, Mr. George Fendrich, has also been in the industry for over 35 years.  George, a former ApHC judge, has taught youth and amateurs and enjoys a little team roping on the side.  George lives on site and oversees the horses 24 hours a day.  When Terry and Karen are gone to a show, George continues the fitting and care of the horses left in the barn.  That way,
Sartain Equine Management can continue to show and shape six days a week - every month - all year long.  But, George and the horses do get to rest on Sunday!
